Kilinochchi Magistrate slaps a travel ban on Gajendrda Ponnambalam.

The Killinochchi Magistrate Court imposed an overseas travel ban on MP Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam today.

He is accused of obstructing the duties of police officers and verbally abusing them during a meeting held in Killinochchi.

A video being circulated on social media platforms showed a heated argument between the MP and several police officers.

Public Security Minister Tiran Alles called for a report from the police regarding the incident.
