Major Ajith Prassana gets yet another jail term for contempt of court.

Retired Major Ajith Prasanna was today sentenced to six months of rigorous imprisonment by the Court of Appeal in connection with a contempt of court application filed in 2019.
He is currently serving a four-year sentence of rigorous imprisonment imposed by the Supreme Court over a contempt of court application filed in 2020.
The Court of Appeal imposed six months imprisonment to be operated separately after the expiration of the original four years of rigorous imprisonment.
