A Medical Officer attached to the North Colombo General Hospital died after infecting Covid 19.

The Medical officer concerned received treatment at the Karapitiya Hospital.
He was thirty two years old and the first doctor to succumbed to Covid 19.
Meanwhile it has been reported that Southern Governor Willie Gamage has also been infected with Covid 19.
