A monk from a temple in Uduwila, Weerawila, has been arrested by police after gravely burning a 13-year-old child’s palm with camphor to chase a demon.
The monk has burned camphor on the child’s palm to chase away an evil spirit.
According to the police, this boy doesn’t have any parents and is raised by his grandmother. After claiming that the youngster was mischievous, the grandmother took the child to meet this monk.
