No emergency procurement of drugs hereafter

Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella says that emergency procurement of drugs will be stopped soon.
Rambukwella said that 294 essential medicines have already been purchased under due procurement practises.
He says that the Ministry has received additional funds amounting to Rs 3,000 million for the purchase of medicines, and accordingly, 95 percent of the financial facilities needed to buy medicines were completed.
