SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam quashed rumours that Mahinda Rajapaksa would be made Prime Minister once again in the presence of a huge security contingent. He said there was no request as such to make him PM once again.
Addressing a press briefing, he said he would be appointed only with the blessings of the people, and according to Kariyawasam, he is the greatest ever leader born in this country who ended a three-decade-long war that four presidents could not accomplish.
