PCoI recommendations to sent to Parliament and AG

The Speaker of the House of Parliament today tabled the Presidential Commission of Inquiry report on the Easter Sunday attacks in Parliament today for the perusal of the Parliamentarians.. Meanwhile the Attorney General too has received a copy of the same to examine the recommendations of the PCOI and to examine the criminal liabilities of the persons named by the Commission. Former President Maithripala Sirisena is likely to refer the matter to a panel of lawyers to study the report.The Commission of Inquiry recommended instituting charges against the President.for alleged inaction after having been informed of the incident.
