Petrochina International to supply diesel for eight months

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to award the tender for the supply of Diesel for eight months to Petrochina International of Singapore.
Bids were called from the registered suppliers of Lanka Petroleum Cooperation for the long term contract to import 1,137,500 barrels of Diesel (Maximum sulfur percentage 0.05) and 262,500 barrels of Diesel (Maximum Sulfur percentage 0.001) for 8 months from 1st June 2021 to 31st January 2022. Accordingly, the proposal tabled by the Minister of Energy to award the relevant contract for the M/s Petrochina International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd as recommended by the Special Standard Procurement Committee appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Awarding the long term contract to import Murban Crude Oil.
The cabinet has approved the awarding of the tender for the supply Murban Crude oil to M/s Conscious Ltd, Nigeria.
Bids were called from the registered suppliers of Lanka Petroleum Cooperation for the long term contract to import Murban Crude Oil for 09 months from 1st June 2021 to 28th February 2022.
Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal tabled by the Minister of Energy to award the relevant contract for the M/s Conscio Ltd, Nigeria as recommended by the Special Standard Procurement Committee appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
