President Gotabaya Rajapaksa left for Singapore this morning on a private visit.
Accordingly, the Cabinet of ministers were to meet sans the President.
The Cabinet was to discuss ways and means of facing the impending economic crisis and debt servicing issues that will arise by mid-January. They will inquire into the possibilities of seeking the assistance of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) to overcome the present crisis.
