Pupil dies of Covid

A 12-year-old pupil studying at the President’s College died while receiving treatment for the Covid 19 infection at the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital. The pupil, Abimani Navodya Serusundera was studying in grade seven of the school and residing at the Galpotta Rd Rajagiriya. Initially, she had a fever but later developed it into a more severe condition when she experienced difficulty in breathing. She was rushed to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital but died while receiving treatment
