Further restrictions based on final digit of theNIC reintroduced

The process of allowing people to leave their homes based on the final digit in the NIC will be reintroduced from Thursday (13): Police Spokesperson said addressing a news conference Persons with 2,4,6,8,0 as the last digit on the NIC permitted to go out on even numbered days while persons with 1,3,5,7,9 as the last digit will be allowed to go out on odd numbered daysfrom tomorrow. Quarantine regulations will apply irrespective of Covid 19 vaccination. Travel restrictions will be inforce from 11.00 pm today until 4.00 am tomorrow. From 11.00 pm tomorrow until 4.00 am on Monday total travel restrictions for three full days All daily restrictions will be in force until the 31st of May (from the 13th of May to 17th of May a total ban on movement will be in force)
