Sathosa sells banned canned fish

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to sell a stock of canned fish banned by the Ports Authority of Sri Lanka through Lanka Sathosa Outlet Network Island wide.
The Sathosa has informed outlet managers to market the product without the name of the local trader and the brand name, exposed to the customers,
An assistant secretary attached to the Sathosa has directed the outlet managers through an e-mail to stick a sticker sent along with the stock of canned fish to cover the brand name and the name of the local trader.
Sathosa sources said that it has, sold items banned by the Ports Authority on many occasions after determining the quality of the product.
