A second coconut triangle is to be set up in the north.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has proposed a new coconut triangle. encompassing Jaffna, Mannar, and Mulaitivu, Minister of Plantation Industries Ramesh Pathiranan said.

It will be inaugurated on September 2, which marks World Coconut Day.
