A Corporal in the Sri Lanka Army who went to recover the body of a young woman who had mysteriously died on the upper section of Great Western Mountain in Talawakele died yesterday as a result of an unexpected sickness.

The Corporal was among the Police Special Task Force personnel who helped bring down the lifeless corpse of a young woman who had fallen along a steep precipice on the top of Great Western Mountain.
According to Lindula Police, no one else has ever gone to the top of the mountain for the purpose of climbing, and an inquiry has been launched to determine whether this was the result of a murder.
The police have started procedures to transport the two bodies to Nuwara Eliya Base Hospital for a postmortem examination.
