State Minister for Rural Road Development Nimal Lanza has tendered his resignation from his ministerial portfolio.
Addressing the President, Lanza, while thanking him for appointing him as a state minister, stated that his conscience doesn’t permit him to continue and look aloof when the masses are suffering.
