Sumanthiran Questioned

Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian M. A Sumanthiran has been interviewed by the Police over theP2P demonstration held recently. The Police recorded a statement at his office in Colombo. Parliamentarian Sumanthiran played a key role in organizing the demonstration from Pottuvil to Polikandy where Tamil speaking people from the Northern and Eastern provinces participated in their thousands. Subsequently, the special security provided to MP Sumanthiran was withdrawn following a directive by Minister Sarath Weerasekara.
