Suresh Sally goes to the CID against Nalin Bandara

Director of the State Intelligence Services (SIS) Major General Suresh Sallay has today complained to the CID, against SJB Parliamentarian Nalin Bandara. Major General Sally has sent a written complaint to the CID which, the CID had decided to investigate. Parliamentarian Bandara had allegedly made a statement at a press conference outlining a possible link between him(Sallay) and Saharan Hashim. MP Bandara during a Press briefing in Colombo, quoting the E-News reportedly said that Hashim may have met with Sallay who was the defence adviser at that stage at the Sri Lankan High Commission in Malaysia. Sallay has complained that the MP’s utterances have caused damage to him and the family and that he had not met Saharan Hashim on any day.
