Tamil Party leaders are planning to meet Prime Minister Modi next month.

Representatives of the Tamil National Alliance and three other Tamil political parties have decided to go to New Delhi next month and meet senior Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The objective of the visit is to urge Indian leaders to exert pressure on Sri Lanka for a durable solution to the North-East issue. They said that they would meet Indian leaders before President Wickremesinghe’s official visit to New Delhi.
