Three strains of Dengue spreading in the country

There are three strains of the Dengue virus rapidly spreading across the country at present, the National Dengue Control Unit said. This came to light following joint scientific investigations by the National Dengue Control Unit, the Medical Research Institute, and the Dengue Research Institute at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. A high incidence of the dengue virus spreading in the country is expected during the next few days according to National Dengue Control Unit.
