Two persons, including political wing leader of the Tamil National People's Front Sargunadevi Jagathiswaran, who was arrested for organising a political meeting at a school in Maradankerni in Killinochchi where the GCE Ordinary Level Examination was being held, were remanded till tomorrow (7) by Killiochchi Magistrate Court.

TNPF leader Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam also participated in the meeting.

Mardankerni police have summoned the parliamentarian to the police station to obtain a statement regarding the meeting. However, the MP had not turned up at the police station, citing that he had to attend Parliament.
