Two special High Courts to try bond scam accused

  The Chief justice has appointed two High Courts –at- Bar to hear each of the two cases involving the Central bank bond scam. This is pursuant to a request made by the Attorney General. Chief Justice Jayantha jayasuriya has appointed High Court Judges D.Thotawatta, Manjula Thilakarathna and M. Irasadeen to the first High court- at- bar. While High Court Judges Amal Ranaraja, Namal Balalle and Adithya Patabandige have been appointed to the second High Court- at- bar
