The BASL urges the government to steer clear of interference with the judiciary

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka is of the view that the judiciary
should be allowed to operate free from external pressure threats or interference for a vibrant democracy to exist.
It has issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to upholding the rule of law. and upholding the independence of the judiciary
