Dhammika and Bnadula quit ministerial portfolios.

Investment Promotion Minister Dhammika Perera has tendered his resignation from the Ministerial portfolio with immediate effect.
Mr Perera criticised Prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at a Press Conference and said the Prime Minister should quit the Finance Portfolio. Later the Prime Minister told the President to remove him from the Cabinet since he failed to uphold democratic traditions.
Meanwhile, Minister Bandual Gunawardene has also resigned as a Minister and from the membership of the SLPP. He will remain in Parliament as an independent member.
