A member of the ElectionCommission Mrs S.P .M Charles has tendered her resignation. She has sent her resignation to the President stating that her resignation is effective from the 25th of this month.
However, the election commission sources said that it could not have any bearing on the LG elections. The election commission act is very clear on the matter.
