Foreign pilots to supplement the shortfall in Sri Lankan airlines

  Sri Lankan Airlines has obtained the government’s approval for the recruitment of foreign pilots. Sri Lankan CEO Richard Nuttal said that the airline will have to recruit foreign pilots to address the prevailing pilot shortage. Over 50 pilots have left Sri Lankan Airlines during the last 12 months, and new cadet pilots have also been recruited to meet the shortage.
