Chairman of the Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna (SLPP) G.L Peiris has contradicted the position taken by its General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasm, throwing the support of the SLPP behind Ranil Wickrkemsinghe’s candidacy.
Peris, in a letter written to Karyawasam, has queried who authorised him to make such a statement and asked for more details about his announcement.
