IUBF monks demonstrate near President's official residence.

  Buddhist monks representing the Inter-University Buddhist federation today staged a protest opposite the official residence of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The IBUF started the protest march from Vihara Maha Devi Park and proceeded towards the GalleFace Green. When they found that barricades near the World Trade Centre Fort blocked their way, the protestors headed towards the Central Bank and then to the President's official residence. However, subsequently, they proceeded towards the GalleFace Green to join the other protestors.
