Alleged underworld kingpin Mohamed Najim Mohamed Imran alias ‘Kanjipani Imran’ was today released on bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court as he fulfilled bail conditions imposed in a case filed by Organized Crimes Prevention Division.

On December 14, the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court ordered to release the suspect on bail following the Attorney General’s advice not to proceed legal action against the suspect under Prevention of Terrorism Act.
