Kegalle Magistrate orders IGP to arrest and produce those involved in Rambukkana shooting.

Kegalle Magistrate today ordered the IGP to produce before the court the suspects who were responsible for the Rambukkana shooting incident where a youth died of gunshot injuries. The JMO Kegalle has stated that the youth had died of gunshot injuries. Police last week opened fire at a peaceful protest where crowds were agitating for reasonable distribution of fuel in Rambukkana. The crowds blocked the roads and the railway line to Kandy for over 15 hours when Police opened fire at them.
