Lawyers to help victims of Police brutality

A team of around 300 lawyers were present at the Mirihana Police station to help the victims of Police brutality after nearly fifty protestors, including several bystanders were taken into custody by the Police on Thursday.
Scores of people stormed the President's residence in Mirihana last night, demanding his resignation. Bystanders had observed the involvement of a group of outsiders unleashing acts of violence taking cover under the protestors.
