The election commission has decided to fix the date of the local government election for April 25.
The Commission has announced that it could not hold the election on the 9th of March as scheduled due to various issues beyond its control. The Commission feels that April 25th would be a more appropriate date for the election and has already informed the district returning officers on the matter accordingly.
