Litro Chairman resigns

Litro Chairman Teshara Jayasinghe has tendered his resignation from his post as the Chairman of Litro Gas. Mr Jayasinghe has sent a long letter to the President, reasoning out the circumstances that led to his resignation. He has said that the Finance Ministry has failed to give him the necessary support to perform the duties diligently with policy decisions. Jayasinghe said that he had introduced a transparent system to run the institution subject to audit queries by the Auditor General.
