A man was arrested for allegedly torching an MP's home in Nalla.

The Nalla Police in Gampaha today arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly entering the residence of Parliamentarian Kokila Harshani Gunawardena in Nalla and causing damage to her house and office by setting both premises ablaze. According to police, the suspect was arrested in Loluwagoda yesterday for allegedly setting fire to the houses of the MP and her brother on May 9th. The suspect, a resident of Loluwagoda, will be produced before the Attanagalla Magistrate's Court.
