A man who deposited money in Ratta’s account was detected

A man who deposited money in Ratta’s account was detected. The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has recorded a statement from a man who is reported to have deposited Rs. 5 million in the bank account of GotaGoGama activist Rathindu Senaratne alias Ratta. Sources said the individual, who is a resident of Mount Lavinia, told the CCD that he had mistakenly deposited Rs. 5 million into the said account while making a deposit of Rs. 15 million. Further investigations are underway. Rathindu Senaratne said he will take legal action regarding the matter since there could have been an attempt to frame him and those who were involved in the Aragalaya.
