A minor tremor in Beruwala

A minor earth tremor of a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale was reported from the Beruwala area. The tremor reportedly took place in the seas 24 km off the coast of Beruwala a short while ago, according to the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau. The Disaster Management Center said there was no threat of a tsunami.
