The SLFP’s Duminda Dissanayake (center) has no love for the Rajapaksa’s and helped endorse President Sirisena as his party’s Presidential nominee. But his loyalties lie with former President Chandrika Kumaratunga, who is currently more supportive of the UNP.
President Sirisena hopes that his crackdown on social evils – drugs and crime, will make him the darling off the people, and help him win the next Presidential election.
