No power cuts from today

  President Ranil Wickremesinghe has directed the relevant officials to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to electricity consumers once the new electricity tariff scheme is implemented. Accordingly, the new electricity tariffs will come into force today, and there will not be any power cuts from today onward.
