Police arrested the person who entered the Rupavahini (SLRC) studios and disrupted transmission. The arrest was made at the Bandaranaike International Airport while he was trying to leave the country. The Rupavahini and the state-owned TV stations had to suspend transmissions as intruders forcibly entered studios.
