Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe became the new Minister of Finance of the Gotabaya Rajapaksa Government. In addition to Finance, he will also handle a new portfolio, Economic Stability and National Policies. President Rajapaksa held the Finance portfolio until this morning. Mr Wickremesinghe took over the Finance portfolio for the first time during his political career..
