President Ranil Wickremesinghe had a fruitful discussion with opposition leader Sajith Premadasa today at the party leaders’ meeting.
There Mr Premadasa pledged to support the government constructively through the committee system.
He has also requested the President to refrain from filling Cabinet vacancies by luring the opposition members.
The President was appreciative of the “Husma” (breath) programme of the SJB and wanted them to continue the programme.
