Scrap executive presidency- Opposition Leader

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa called upon the House of Parliament to come together to scrap the executive Presidency. He said it is time appropriate to empower Parliament and go back to the Westminister system of Parliament headed by a Prime Minister. "We should feel the pulse of the people on the road." "What is their desire. The people want the entire government to resign." The Opposition Leader said that the people are going through untold hardships, and unless this House did not take appropriate action, the people wouldn't tolerate it.
