State Minister Roshan Ranasinghe tenders his resignation

State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Roshan Ranasinghe has tendered his resignation to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Minister Ranasinghe was under pressure from his electorate to act prudently, to resolve the current crisis plaguing the country.

His resignation will come into effect from May 1
