  Social media activist and the admin of '#GoHomeGota2022' Facebook page Thisara Anurudhdha Bandara was today ordered to be released from a case filed against him at the Colombo Magistrate's Court. Suspect Thisara Anurudhdha Bandara was arrested on April 2 for allegedly attempting to excite feelings of disaffection to the President and the Government and he was released on bail after being produced before Court. Defence Counsel appeared on behalf of the suspect and had made an application to release the suspect from the case citing there are no materials to justify their client being charged under Section 120 of the Penal Code. Colombo Additional Magistrate Keminda Perera had earlier ordered that the mobile phone and a laptop be handed over to the suspect. The suspect had been arrested for committing offences under section 120 of the Penal Code.He was arrested by the Mutuwal Police for allegedly attempting to excite feelings of disaffection toward the President and the Government of the Republic through a facebook page named 'GoHomeGota2022
