Twenty-One Galle Face protestors banned from leaving the country.

The Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court issued an order preventing 21 Galle Face protesters from leaving the country.
Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage issued this order following a request by Fort Police over an investigation against the protesters for allegedly causing a public nuisance after blocking the main entrances to the Presidential Secretariat.
The Fort Police informed the court that they had received intelligence reports regarding the possibility of protesters leaving the country. They sought an order preventing the protesters from leaving the country via Katunayake and Mattala Airports.
Accordingly, the Fort Magistrate issued a travel ban on Ven. Wigoda Watte Kashyapa Thera, M.G. Thisara Anuradha, L.N.D. Perera, P.B.M. Ramesh Indika, R.A. Rajapaksa, A.A. Cyril Manatunga, W.P. Isuru Warnakula, Roshan Ali Danis Ali, T.C. Chandimal Gamage, D.R.S. Bentara Arachchi, N.M. Thaufiq, M. Casim, Nilantha Samith Fernando, Koralage Bandula Prabhath, H.M.T.G. Menika, Sameera Madhushanka Siriwardena, Sudath Lakshman, M.R. Charuka, D.P. Chathurika Sarojani, J. Nilantha and M. Nishanthi.
