World Bank to help the poor overcome the economic crisis

The World Bank has expressed its deep concern over the uncertain economic outlook in Sri Lanka and the impact on the people.

The World Bank said they were working on a programme to support the poor and vulnerable households to help them weather the economic crisis.

The world bank also said they were committed to the well-being of the Sri Lankan people.
