There is reliable information that the government is trying to take over 12,000 acres from the Yala National Park block one, Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa tweeted

He said that the government was trying to construct a road illegally through the National Park to the Akasa Chaitya.

The opposition leader has said that he and the SJB will oppose the move through democratic and legal means.
