Drug kingpin Mohomed Naufer, who was on death row over the murder of High Court Judge Sarath Ambepitiya, died today after having been infected with the Coronavirus.
Naufer, who was in the Boossa Prisons transferred to the Prison Hospital for treatment.
Prison authorities said he died due to complications arising from the Coronavirus while in hospital.
